The Cassini probe was launched in 1997 and arrived in the Saturn system in 2004. From then it flew past Saturn's moons and rings, transmitting invaluable scientific information and beautiful images to mission control at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).

This track was first conceived of in late 2016, before I even thought of making a synth album, but it was the one that planted the idea in my head. I was working on my second album and as a side step I made this as an experiment to write something in the style of Jean Michel Jarre. Although the track changed, I think its inspiration is still notable.
